About Canada Government Scholarship Program
The E8 scholarship has been introduced to support the brilliant students who want to pursue their advanced higher education in the field of sustainable energy development and the projects on energy. The purpose of this program is to promote the significant assistance in attaining knowledge in the field of sustainable energy development. All the international Universities, but candidates are advised to pursue their studies outside of their home country. This program is offered for the Masters in development sustainable and Post-Doctoral studies. The Education for Sustainable Energy Development supports the network of Scholars that is web-based to encourage them for sharing knowledge.

Who can apply?
The e8 scholarships based on sustainable development graduate programs are offered to the international students who belong to developing economies and countries in evolution.
Scholar ship Benefits
For Masters level students the amount of the grant will be US$ 23,000 each year for two years. And for the Post-Doctoral studies the amount will be US$ 30,000 each year for Up to two years. These Scholarships will be awarded annually.
Eligibility Criteria:
The eligible students will be: To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must
- who want to study their Masters education in the subject fields sustainable energy development
- who must be the citizens of the developing countries that are included in the DAC list of ODA Recipients effective as of 2006 and known for OECD official development aid
The e8 considerations for the excellent students are:
- who have secured their excellent grades in top 20% of the class at graduation
- who are resolute to improve their understanding and knowledge
- who has a history of community involvement
- who are willing to contribute in sustainable energy sector
- who are willing to contribute to their native country on return
