HEC Need based scholarships:
HEC Financial Support for Meritorious Needs based Scholarship Program is offering opportunities to access to Higher Education to those students who come from unprivileged and deprived income classes. However, the students possess brilliant academic record and are not able to continue education due to economic constraints. A Project Management Unit (PMU) is devoted to check the daily activities of this program. The team guarantees that the project gives the good results, targets and objectives that are specified in the project document.
Introduction to Scholarship Providing Body:
The scholarship award is offered by HEC/Government of Pakistan. HEC (Higher education commission) is an autonomous, independent that provides funding, regulates and oversees the higher education promotion in Pakistan. HEC collaborates with Project Management Unit (PMU) work with Focal Persons that are selected by the university administration in every Students Financial Aid office.

Objectives of Scholarships:
- To offer opportunities to those brilliant students who are economically underprivileged and are not capable of paying higher education expenses at 11 partner universities in business and agriculture fields.
- To offer opportunities to academically eligible, but financially needy, Pakistani students who wish to carry on their studies in HEC selected partner universities of Pakistan in agriculture and business administration fields. Particularly, those students who belong to rural, neglected and remote areas of Pakistan, these areas include: (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Balochistan, Northern Sindh and Southern Punjab).
- To improve the institutional capabilities of the Higher Education Commission and help local, public and private sector universities to design and implement need and merit based scholarship Projects.
- To offer special opportunity to the needy female students who belong to rural areas and wish to continue their Higher Education.
