About Indigenous Scholarship for Baluchistan Province:

This scholarship is focused towards those students of Baluchistan who overcome the funding obstacle despite of having the academic merit. This scholarship is not only limited to the tuition fee but also cover the other accommodation and living expenses. This scholarship is meant to talented students of Baluchistan and the current project is in line with the overall objectives and development projects in Baluchistan.

Scholarship Benefits:

The scholarship will cover the tuition fee for the entire Master’s and PhD program. In addition to this tuition fee this scholarship will also cover the accommodation and living expenses of the students.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must have the domicile of Baluchistan Province
  • Candidates must have completed the 16 Years of Education (Bachelors/Masters) or have Equivalent qualification
  • Age limit for candidates for open merit is 30 Years, for MS/MPhil with 18 Years of education is 35 Years and for In-Service government servants is 40 Years
  • At least 2 degrees must have been obtained by the HEC recognized universities/DAIs in Baluchistan
  • For applicants applying for medical must have Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) registration certificate and applicants applying for Engineering disciplines must have the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration certificate
  • Candidates with minimum of 45% Marks is eligible to apply while 3rd division are unacceptable
  • Applicant must pass the local GAT (Graduate Admission Test) organized by NTS (National Testing Service) with at least 50%
  • Applicant must have acquired necessary academic qualifications before applying for scholarship
  • Candidate must NOT be a holder of any other scholarship

Key Reminder:

  • All scholarships will be awarded on District quota
  • Government employees should apply through proper channel
  • Scholarship will be awarded to those who have successfully secured admission in MS/MPhil/PhD Programs by fulfilling HEC criteria
  • Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of scores in GAT and other academic credentials
  • Candidates have to sign a bond with HEC to serve in the public sector of Baluchistan for at least 5 years
  • Preference will be given to students who are already enrolled in PhD or having MS/MPhil Degree (18 Years of Education)

  • Attested photocopies of education testimonials
  • Attested photocopies of Domicile and CNIC
  • Copies of PEC and PMDC (if applicable)
  • For In-Service applicants, NOC must be provided by the organization
  • Original deposit slip/bank draft/ATM Transfer slip of 200 Rupees (Application Processing Fee) in the favor of Director Finance of HEC can be deposited at HBL (Habib Bank Limited), Account no: 17427900133401
