Joint/Japan World Bank Scholarships has a goal of creating a group of professional s who relates to the development sector in their countries. The basic purpose of this community creation is to bring society reforms or social changes in home countries.

Joint/Japan World Bank Scholarships offers a wide range of Mater level fields related to development including economics, agriculture, health, environment, natural resources, or education. This scholarship is not awarding funds to some fields of Master Degree.

Scholarship Benefits

Joint/Japan World Bank Scholarships is offering following benefits to the international students including:

  • It is awarding funds for one-year Master Degree. However, duration of scholarship can extend in terms of any circumstances. Therefore, limit of this scholarship is maximum two years.
  • Blissfully, it is providing economic class airfare to host and from home country. In addition, it is offering US$500 travel allowance.
  • However, this scholarship is not supporting extracurricular activity cost, family cost, and additional travel expenses during scholarships and language training cost. In addition, applicant should view the benefit section from the Joint/Japan World Bank Scholarships program.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • An aspirant must have a first class Bachelor degree.
  • An aspirant must be a national of World Bank countries .However applicant must not be a permanent citizen or national of industrialized country.
  • In addition, applicant must be in a good health and character and born after March 1972.

Selection Criteria

Joint/Japan World Bank Scholarships will select scholarship aspirant on three factors: outstanding academic record, experience relevant to the study field, and selected Master Field relevancy. Generally, this scholarship will give priority to low-income countries, confident and thoughtful female aspirants, and aspirant who have low finance to support studies.
